Isabel Nakirya is a Ugandan journalist and news correspondent known for her work with various International media outlets including Africanews, eNCA, CGTN and PBS NewsHour. She often covers significant events and issues in Africa, with a focus on social and human interest stories. Her reporting spans topics like the impact of conflict, social justice, and environmental issues, often bringing attention to underreported stories from the region. She has been involved in covering both local and international news from Uganda, providing insightful analysis and reporting. She currently works as East Africa Senior Correspondent at an American Media Agency called Feature Story News. She is based in Kampala but travels the region covering a wide range of story-telling.

Rtn Isabel is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Maya and a member of the Kingfisher Buddy group.

Rtn Isabel holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Skills and English Language as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Makerere University.
