Rtn. Betty Karugaba is an Enrolled Advocate of the High court of Uganda and a member of the Uganda Law Society.

The working experience of seven (07) years as a Lawyer in various Legal Perspectives has encouraged her to treat different people with Professionalism, dignity and respect especially to the marginalised and Vulnerable people. Betty believes that without external support, the majority of the vulnerable populations would find it extremely challenging to meet the legal service expenses they desperately need even given their circumstances.

Rtn. Betty comprehends that as an Advocate for human rights, such people need to be helped irrespective of them being indigent or impecunious.

Counsel Betty initially worked with a Law firm known as Nalumansi and Co. Advocates at Batuma house before joining the Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs in Mbuya. Counsel Betty has worked as one of the Lawyers at General Court Martial under Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs and later transferred to the Pensions Department under The same Ministry as Legal Officer. Betty holds a Bachelor's of Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center.

Counsel Betty is an Advocate as well as a business personnel; she is the Proprietor of Anointed Classic Investments which deals in Cosmetics and Fashion.
