Rtn. Nabukeera Betty

Rotarian Betty Nabukeera is a multi-cultural skill lady, flexible and with the ability to take up challenges.

She has 14 years experience working as a Counselor and Psychologist in areas of HIV Prevention in rural and urban communities. Her work includes conducting research and Household interviews for NGO's and their partners, Betty is trained to work with different personalities and treats people equally. She is currently working as Client Care Officer with Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) at Kisenyi H/C IV Previously she worked as a Financial Advisor with Jubilee Life Insurance and as a Counselor for three years with Mildmay Uganda with emphasis on Social and behavior change.

She has also worked as Prevention Officer and counselor with the AIDS Information Centre-Central and implemented several projects in local communities, schools and private companies.

Rotarian Betty was part of the team that implemented the Uganda Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (UPHIA) Survey with the Ministry of Health (MOH) in collaboration with ICAP at Columbia University, Betty has trained in Project planning and Management, Customer care, Marketing, Book keeping, HIV counseling and testing (HCT) and other related courses and trainings from MUBS, Mildmay, TASO, AIC and Ministry of Health.

Rotarian Betty holds a degree in Office and Information Management (BOIM) from Makerere University Business School.
